Job overview
We are seeking to appoint a Technology Technician to join our busy Technology Department within The Academy. The role will involve providing both the staff and students with the resources and materials required to aid in the teaching and learning of the subject within the department. The Technician will also be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Technology rooms as well as being a designated First Aider.
Salary: SCP 14 – (£16,231) pro rata to £14,174 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week / 40 weeks per year (term time plus two additional weeks)
The successful applicants will be qualified to GCSE level or equivalent in English and Maths. A level 2 IT qualification is also desirable but not essential as well as the use of a car.
