We have an exciting opportunity for a Temporary Higher Education Assistant Support Tutor (0.75 FTE) to join our University Centre team on a part time / temporary basis, You will receive a competitive salary of £13,435 to £14,485 per annum (pro rata to £17,700 to £19,094 per annum) plus excellent benefits!  

The purpose of the role is to be the main point of contact for students on Higher Education courses, for all matters relating to their pastoral needs.  The postholder will also assist in marketing, recruitment and retention strategies as well as the development and implementation of ad-hoc projects. 

The postholder will be required to work 27.5 hours per week, throughout the year. There is a requirement to work 2 evenings per week, up to 8.30 p.m. and very occasional Saturdays (once or twice per year).  The specific working hours will be negotiated following appointment.

As the role is linked to a maternity leave the exact end date is unknown but could be up to circa. July 2019.
