Required from 1st September 2019: The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic, confident teaching assistant to join our friendly and committed team. This position would ideally suit someone who has the ability to inspire and motivate children whilst being pro-active, calm and cheerful. It is important for our school that you want to contribute to the growth and development of every child and to meet their individual needs.
Working hours are 8.30am - 3.00pm, term-time only.
The successful candidate will:
o Work with the class teacher, SENCO and other staff to prepare resources and deliver lessons to individuals and small groups.
o Work in partnership with parents and external agencies to support children.
o Follow and implement all school policies and procedures.
o Be reliable, punctual and consistent in your work.
o Previous experience would be welcome.
o GCSEs Grade 9-4 in English and Maths (or equivalent) are essential.
o 5 GCSEs Grade 9-4 are desirable.

o The progress made by the majority of pupils currently in the school is improving strongly and rapidly. Their progress is now good.
o Teaching is good. Teachers are knowledgeable about their subjects and most provide suitable stretch and challenge for pupils.
o Pupils have positive attitudes to learning. They take pride in their work and behave well in lessons and at social times.
