This outstanding Academy is inviting applications from ambitious, well qualified and highly motivated candidates to teach across the full ability and age range in a very successful English Department. Newly qualified teachers (NQTs) are welcome to apply.
Hodgson Academy has been designated as one of the first wave of National Teaching Schools. This post will add capacity in English to help deliver our commitment to further raising attainment at Hodgson and beyond.
Results in 2016 included 80% Basic Measures, 86% of the students achieved a grade C or above in Mathematics and 84% in English.
ICT within and across the curriculum is a major focus to improve standards and all teaching staff are issued with a personal laptop on appointment.

Hodgson Academy is a mixed comprehensive school for students aged 11 to 16. We provide a first rate, all-round education for children of all abilities.
