Lichfield Cathedral School is a flourishing co-educational independent school in Staffordshire for ages 3 to 18. The middle and upper school occupy a beautiful site within Lichfield Cathedral Close and a Junior School in a rural position four miles outside the city.

Temporary Music Teacher – Michaelmas term 2017 (September to December) 

Approximately 0.7 FTE across 4 days  

We seek to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and dynamic Music Teacher who can teach up to and including A Level on a fixed term contract to ensure the highest quality of teaching.  

You will be well qualified, with ambition and clear vision and energy, and have a passion for teaching first class lessons and helping the pupils attain the best possible results, whilst encouraging music through the school.  

You will be involved with various ensembles, productions and the wider musical life of the school.   

As a teacher you will join a thriving team who teach across the age and ability range throughout the school. You will have an ability to build, develop and maintain strong and positive relationships with all students, parents and colleagues alike. All staff are expected to contribute to the wider aspects of school life. Following the latest excellent ISI Inspection received by the School, we are looking for the right candidate to fill this role to continue to deliver the outstanding education the report reflects.
