Are you an enthusiastic Teacher of  Technology with a passion and the aptitude to teach all secondary age mixed ability students?

We have a position covering maternity leave and we are looking to appoint a temporary teacher to cover practical subjects in:- Design Technology -Timbers, Product Design (A Level) and Key Stage 3 Technology.  We teach Edexcel through to A Level.

The Samworth Church Academy opened in September 2008 and enjoys 21st century facilities, highly motivated and professionally developed staffing which allows us to focus on our fantastic students with a mission to be ‘the best we can be’.  This is an exciting opportunity to join an academy that is rapidly improving and was recognised in our most recent OfSTED inspection (November 2019).

This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding team in our academy. We can offer a salary within a range of £25,714-£41,604 (negotiable depending on relevant experience).  We welcome applications from experienced teachers, as well as from recently qualified teachers.

We support our NQTs through a bespoke internal training programme with a dedicated mentor, supported by access to external programmes in addition to being registered onto the NIPT induction programme.
