Monday – Friday 8:30am – 3:30pm Term-time only - 2 terms fixed contract
We are looking to employ an enthusiastic, positive minded and ambitious teaching assistant and Midday Supervisor to work at The Belham Primary School in the heart of Peckham - an exciting, creative school with a glittering curriculum. This post will cease at the end of the Summer term in July 22.
We are looking for people who are passionate about working with children, who demonstrate flexibility and are creative in approach. The successful candidates must have:
- GCSE (or equivalent) Maths & English at grade C or above
- Previous experience of working with children (5–11), preferably in a school setting
- Knowledge of children with special needs
- NVQ, degree or teaching qualifications (desirable, but not essential)

We are offering a contract of 30 hours per week for TA post. You will be working with children in whole class settings as well as supporting individuals and groups of learners during the core day. We would also require the successful candidate to undertake 2.5 hours per week (½ hour per day) in the role of Midday Supervisor.
Salary for Teaching Assistant post is £17,650 (actual)
Midday Supervisor post £1,349. (actual).

The Belham Primary School is a part of The Charter Schools Educational Trust, a family of four primary schools and two secondary schools serving communities across the London Borough of Southwark.
