TEMPORARY TRAINER/ASSESSOR (HAIRDRESSING)
Required for January 2018
Salary: £17,537 per annum
37 hours per week, 39 weeks per annum (1443 hours per annum, term time). There is a requirement to work flexibly within and outside of normal College hours.

We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified, highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Vocational Sixth Form Team to train and assess Level 2 and 3 Hairdressing qualifications. Experience and ability to train and assess in Beauty Therapy would also be advantageous.
You will have high expectations of student achievement and behaviour, excellent communication skills and a commitment to working flexibly as part of a team.
This post is offered on a fixed term temporary basis to cover a period of maternity leave, likely to be until December 2018.

Newton Abbot College was originally established in 1904 as the Newton Abbot town Grammar School, becoming Knowles Hill School in 1975 with the introduction of the comprehensive system. In 2008, the school became Newton Abbot College. Along with a new identity and uniform came a strong ethos of the highest expectations for student learning and progress. In 2011 we gained Academy status. Today, the College offers 11-19 year old students a challenging curriculum in a calm, purposeful, well-ordered community.
