Location: Open to candidates located in the following states or regions; New York/New England, District of Columbia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia or Washington (State).  Candidate can work from the New York corporate office or from one of these locations remotely.

What it’s about
 We are looking for a schools relationship Territory Manager to help maintain and grow Cambridge International in the US territory.  The Territory Manager, will be responsible for a subset of the territory with responsibility for cultivating new relationships with schools or school districts not currently using Cambridge.  In addition, the Territory Manager, will ensure our existing customers are well supported and that we are providing world-class service to our schools.  There will be periodic contact with key state departments of Education as needed.

What you’ll be doing

A primary responsibility will be to ensure we are engaging and building the Cambridge brand within new schools in the territory.   This position will be located in our NY Office or Remote, depending on location of preferred candidate.  But the candidate must live in one of the areas listed above to be considered as these are the key areas of growth for Cambridge at this time. The Territory Manager will be accountable for growing the number of schools utilizing the Cambridge program in the specific assigned territory.  The Territory Manager must develop relationships with both new and existing Cambridge schools. 

Another aspect of the role will be to engage in opportunities to build awareness for Cambridge products and services through active participation at educational seminars, conferences and other events, making presentations or delivering speeches, as required.

What we’re looking for

A four year college degree, in an education-related field, or equivalent demonstrable experience.  

Required Skills:

  • Strategic thinking
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Confident communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to develop on-going relationships with our customers at a      senior level as well as with government officials and other stakeholders
  • Proven business development experience, preferably with educational      products
  • Fluency in English 
  • Ability to work under pressure and to set deadlines
  • Good proven IT skills, including knowledge of MS Word, Excel and      Outlook  
  • Familiarity with the education system in the USA
  • Knowledge of Cambridge products and services is preferred
