Smart Teachers is recruiting for a qualified Textiles Teacher for a co-educational academy catering for pupils aged 11-18 in Hertfordshire. This well-established secondary school is part of a multi academy trust partnering with another local academy. This is a full time role starting April 2019 and will continue through until the end of the academic year with potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The ideal Textiles Teacher will be a specialist and able to teach up to A Level.

In order to be considered for this role, the Textiles Teacher will need to meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor of Education/ PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree

• Proven experience teaching the UK curriculum

• NQTs and/or OS-trained teachers are welcome to apply

• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa/right to work)

• Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
