The Role
Textiles Teacher *MATERNITY COVER - 0.8 (26 Hours/Monday to Thursday)
Salary: Teachers Main Scale - UPS Pay Range (£22,917 - £38,633)
Location: Dormston School, Mill Bank, Sedgley, DY3 1SN
Required for January 2019 or as soon as possible after, we are looking for a highly motivated, creative and inspiring Teacher of Textiles to join our highly successful Technology Department.
The Department is divided into RM, Graphics, Food and Textiles. Textiles has become a very popular subject achieving very good results. It is housed in a newly refurbished room with excellent resources. Although we have a Head of Technology our Textiles teacher is given autonomy to manage textiles to ensure the best results for our students.

About The Dormston School
The Dormston School is a mixed, comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school without sixth form, situated in Sedgley, near Dudley in the West Midlands. It is a community state school. A larger than average secondary school, Dormston provides 1,120 places for students aged 11-16.
The Dormston School was established in 1935. It has undergone a number of renovations and additions over the years, including a £4 million arts and sports centre, which opened in 1996 and was funded by the National Lottery. The Dormston Centre, a building that joins on to the school and contains a theatre, sports hall, art gallery and gymnasium, was built in 2000. Our newest block was built in 2017 providing an additional 5 classrooms to our site.
