Wimbledon High School has an exciting opportunity for a Theatre and AV Technician to join their productions team.
Collaborating with the Drama and Music departments, and other staff across the school you will provide a high-level of technical support and knowledge for all school events and productions. You will work alongside the Theatre Technician and AV & IT Technician to expertly deliver elements of production such as stage lighting, live sound reinforcement and special effects. Occasional work with students is required, such as training and supervising pupils in operating equipment for events and productions.
You will be a highly knowledgeable individual, with prior experience of working unsupervised with stage lighting, live sound, stage effects, set and props. A Postgraduate qualification in Technical Theatre and Stage Management or considerable experience is essential, pairing this with strong creative and practical abilities. Excellent communication skills are required, with the ability to effectively communicate with others to foster a shared creative vision.
