To start in September 2021, we seek to appoint an experienced Theatre Technician to provide maternity cover for a maximum period of up to 1 year.  The ideal person will be expected to be flexible with their working hours to include some evenings and weekends, which are to be worked mainly during term time.

This is a challenging role which will demand and offer scope for artistic and creative input into the dramatic life of the School and would thus be suited to someone with a professional technical theatre background.

Kimbolton School was founded in 1600 and is set amongst 120 acres of stunning grounds of Kimbolton Castle, in the West Huntingdon town of Kimbolton. The School currently educates almost 1,100 children aged 4-18 in a co-educational, predominantly day environment, although there are approximately 45 boarders. The Senior School is located around Kimbolton Castle while the Preparatory School is housed to the west of the village on the original Grammar School site. The School employs approximately 350 staff and also owns a subsidiary company, Kimbolton School Enterprises, which transacts all non-charitable trading activity.

Kimbolton School proudly ranks as one of The Sunday Times' Top 10 Independent Secondary Schools in East Anglia 2022.
