35 hours per week: 8.30am – 4.30pm, Monday – Friday.

Working hours will require a degree of flexibility, particularly during production weeks.

St Paul’s School is looking for a Theatre Technician to work alongside and support our Theatre Technical Manager and Director of Drama. This demanding and varied role requires a candidate with a good understanding of Technical Theatre and Stage Management.

Candidates should have a background in the theatrical world, good communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work independently and take initiatives.

St Paul’s is a selective Independent Day School for boys aged 13-18, occupying a superb 45-acre site on the south bank of the Thames, west of Hammersmith Bridge. St Paul’s School excels academically at both A level and GCSE, with some of the highest national scores, but it is the work beyond the curriculum that excites both students and teachers alike.

St Paul’s School was founded in 1509 and currently occupies a large site in Barnes, south-west London. A selective independent school, it provides an education for boys aged 7-18 and has boarding facilities for a small number of its students.

Prospective entrants are usually expected to pass online and/or written examinations across a range of subjects, as well as undergoing an interview with a senior member of staff. In order to improve accessibility for students from poorer backgrounds, a wide range of bursaries and scholarships are available for boys who reach the required academic standard.
