Trainee Accountant (Schools) – Catholic Education Office

An exciting opportunity currently exists within the Catholic Education Office, Rockhampton for the position of Trainee Accountant (Schools). This is a Full Time 12 month contract, to commence in March 2019.

This position provides financial and management accounting support and training, to primary school & secondary college principals, administration staff and other associated services. In support of the Finance Manager the successful applicant will provide timely and accurate financial information on primary schools & secondary colleges in the diocese to fulfil internal and external reporting and managerial requirements.

The successful applicant will have relevant experience and an understanding of, and a commitment to, the ethos of Catholic education. A Working with Children Check (WWCC) and eligibility for a Suitability Notice will also be required.
