Macclesfield College is looking to recruit an individual with a background in Health & Social Care to join their Maxim Business Training team. Your role will be to deliver training in the college and also to support and deliver 121 training to apprentices out in the workplace. You will liaise with their employers to ensure our learners are having a first class experience on their apprenticeship, both in college and out in the workplace.

Although experience in training and/or assessing is desirable it is more important that you are highly skilled in your relevant field and you have the passion to share your knowledge, skills and experience with individuals who are just starting out.

Annual leave  

Academic staff are entitled to 40 days per annum (pro rata for part time staff) for the academic year 01 September to 31 August and this is in addition to the Bank and Public Holidays normally observed in England and Wales. 

Business Support staff are entitled to 30 days per annum (pro rata for part time staff) for the academic year 01 September to 31 August and this is in addition to the Bank and Public Holidays normally observed in England and Wales. 

College Management Team are entitled to 35 days per annum (pro rata for part time staff) for the academic year 01 September to 31 August and this is in addition to the Bank and Public Holidays normally observed in England and Wales.  

The College is closed for 2 weeks during the student Christmas break during which time all staff are granted additional leave to be taken at this time.
