Job overview

Are you a maths subject specialist or professional development consultant with a passion for maths? Come and join our primary maths mastery experts.

We are looking for passionate trainers to join our fantastic freelance consultancy team, to deliver primary maths mastery courses and school inset training across the UK.

Teaching maths for mastery, using the transformational approach from Singapore, is taking UK schools by storm. With the Department for Education (DfE) £41 million funding commitment for maths, we’re growing fast, which is why we’re looking for training consultants to join our dynamic organisation and make a difference to maths teaching and learning in the UK.

Maths — No Problem! provides world-class textbooks, teaching resources and professional development for primary and secondary schools, based on the transformational teaching methods developed in Singapore.

About the role

The role involves providing school inset training and offering support to a growing number of schools implementing our programme.

Ideally, you will have experience in primary maths as a maths lead, maths specialist, CPD provider or a member of the SLT. Preferably, you will have experience in teaching the Maths — No Problem! programme in KS1 and KS2.

As this is a consultancy role, you could manage the work alongside your current job. We’re offering full training on the delivery of our programme, so if you’re already an education trainer and have an understanding of the Singapore maths approach, we’d love to hear from you.

These roles are freelance and we are particularly interested to hear from applicants in London and the South West.

Here’s how one of our trainers describes working for Maths — No Problem!

‘Working with Maths — No Problem! has allowed me to share a high impact maths programme with teachers who are keen to make a huge difference in their schools. It's helped me develop an even deeper understanding of what works best in maths lessons and why... The Maths — No Problem! team are fantastic to work with: friendly, professional and proactive.’

We are a small team based in Tunbridge Wells offering competitive rates of pay. If you want to make a difference to teaching and learning in the UK, please contact Ali Jowett, Head of Professional Development, at ali@mathsnoproblem.co.uk for further information.
