Hours/Status: 29.6 hours per week (0.8)/Permanent

Salary: £17,059.00 - £21,573.00 pro rata based on a Full Time Equivalent of £21,324.00 to £26,966.00 per annum (salary points HS022 – HS030)

Calderdale College is looking to recruit an exceptional, appropriately qualified and experienced individual to work in an outstanding Apprenticeship team as a Training Officer to Higher Apprentices in Leadership & Management to deliver Apprenticeship Standards and achieve high standards in performance including challenging timely and overall Achievement Rates across the sector area. There is an expectation that in this role that you will play a key role, especially in developing & supporting the delivery of Higher Apprenticeships. There are some exciting new developments in Calderdale & beyond through the delivery of Future & Aspiring Leaders Programmes & the person appointed is expected to make a major contribution to these. As a Training Officer you will be involved in all aspects of the Apprenticeship including ensuring quality assurance across all aspects of the learner journey and high standards in Training and Assessment practice. All Training Officers will be expected to contribute to the growth and development of the provision. The individual appointed will be high performing and focused individual with the ambition and drive to deliver and achieve these challenging expectations and targets.

The main purpose of the role is to work with key stakeholders & employers to develop & deliver Apprenticeship Standard and to ensure the growth of the Higher Apprenticeship provision and to ensure timely achievement of all learners. 

The role requires an exceptional, well qualified and experienced individual who can demonstrate outstanding success in previous roles. This individual will also be able to demonstrate the role to their learners. The role requires an individual who is solutions orientated and innovative but who has the drive and determination to achieve success in all aspects of the role.
