Based at Futures@SouthStaffs, Rodbaston Campus, Penkridge

We are looking for a highly motivated and flexible individual to join our staff team in our purpose-built specialist college facility. Futures@SouthStaffs provides a high quality, fully inclusive learning environment for learners with learning difficulties and/or disabilities. We wish to recruit an enthusiastic and knowledgeable transition development worker who can work effectively and imaginatively to provide a first class transition experience to our learners starting in September 2016.

Our provision centres on delivering wholly personalised study programmes designed to support each of one of our learners to achieve the best possible outcomes. You need to be a strong team player with a real desire to help young adults with learning difficulties to realise their potential – experience of working with learners with learning disabilities, knowledge of the SEND reforms and the Education Health Care Plans process will be an advantage.
