Job overview

The Manor Learning Trust is a forward thinking and expanding Multi Academy Trust. There are currently 3 Academies in the Trust and this will shortly grow to 5. With plans to develop and further improve the education, opportunities, resources and facilities for our young people, the Trust wishes to appoint an Estates Manager to provide strategic leadership of all Estates and Facilities across the Trust and ensure compliance with current legislation relating to Premises management and Health & Safety. 

You will work in partnership with the Principals and staff to lead and manage all aspects of the MAT's properties in relation to maintenance, refurbishment, hygiene and cleaning services, grounds maintenance, security and health and safety.  The role will also include the management of building projects and contributing to the bidding, developing, procuring and implementing of any expansion programmes as they arise.

The successful candidate will have:

· Qualifications and/or strong experience in one or more of the following areas; Building maintenance, management of health and safety, procurement and contract management, project management.

· Proven line management expertise and the ability to motivate and effectively utilise the skills and expertise of others. 

· Flexibility, reliability, good administration and organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
