The Altius Trust is seeking to appoint an experienced Trust Finance Director for a one year maternity cover, based at our award winning school, Manchester Enterprise Academy.  The role will see you leading the Finance function to deliver an effective and high quality service across our Trust. 

This exciting and challenging role will work across the Trust and the successful candidate will collaborate with the Trust Directors Board and leadership peers to drive financial benefit to the Trust, develop and maintain the provision of high quality financial information to users, as well as ensure effective financial control across the Trust.

Our flagship school, Manchester Enterprise Academy (MEA) in Wythenshawe, was winner of Secondary School of the Year (2015-16) and Healthy Living Award (2016-17) at the MEN Schools Awards, as well as being shortlisted for a national TES award in the category of ‘Community Collaboration’ for our mentoring project with Lloyds Banking Group. MEA was described in a glowing 2015 Ofsted report as ‘A vibrant community that treats you like family (and) a good school that has improved students’ achievement significantly year on year’. 

MEA Central opened to 210 Year 7 students in September 2017 and will grow year on year until we are full in 2022. We are defined by our mission, ‘A Fantastic Future for All', we care about helping students to be their best and know the only way to do this is through academic achievement, character development and strong pastoral support.
