The Alban Academies Trust, which incorporates  Sandringham School, Verulam School and Ridgeway Academy at secondary level and Wheatfields Junior School and Wheatfields Infants’ and Nursery School at primary level, is looking to appoint a Trust Finance Officer to a new position in the Finance team to support the trading activities of the existing Trust schools. This post is based at Sandringham School with occasional travel to other Trust schools. This position is for 12 hours per week and is term time only. The hours are to be worked over 2-3 days. This is a fixed term contract for one year in the first instance.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, suitably experienced and qualified person to take responsibility for management of the Trust’s trading subsidiary including the processing of income generating activities, month end processing and financial reporting. Candidates need to be well organized, have good communicating skills and be able work with a high degree of accuracy. They will need to be highly organised team player and be happy to use their own initiative and work independently. Experience with finance systems and excel is essential.
