As part of our growth plans we are excited to be seeking to appoint a skilled Trust Fleet Manager to join our Trust Central Team, managing the Trust’s minibus fleet of 20+ vehicles.

You will work proactively and autonomously to ensure that the Solent Academies Trust’s minibuses are always maintained to the highest standards, with an emphasis on customer service.

You will liaise regularly with the Trust Estates Lead to ensure all activities are carried out in a safe manner.

Act as the Trust’s MiDAS trainer to include accessibility module training, training can be provided the successful candidate, this will require a driving licence with the D1 category.

To provide site cover within the site teams at our academies, general experience of building maintenance would be an advantage

To be considered for this role, you will be an experienced qualified mechanic and able to provide evidence of undertaking vehicle inspections, excellent communicator with strong customer facing skills. It is essential that you hold a full, driving licence, as you will travel regularly between our sites.

You must be able to demonstrate your initiative and have an awareness of Health & Safety requirements. This is a busy, varied, and demanding position which has rapidly changing priorities, the nature of the position dictates a certain amount of flexibility by the postholder.
