Background

The Prospect Trust is a multi-academy Trust based on the Hampshire / Surrey border. It provides outstanding education and support for c. 6,ooo learners through its family of local academies that include The Sixth Form College Farnborough, Tomlinscote School, Frimley and Frimley CofE Junior School.

We are an ambitious Trust with a relentless desire to improve the educational outcomes and lives of the young people in our local communities. We now have an exciting opportunity for a Trust Governance Advisor to join our growing team.

Our ideal candidate

We are seeking a highly organised individual with a team of motivated governance volunteers and executive professionals. You will be able to demonstrate: 

  • The ability to proactively identify and manage governance issues within a regulated environment. 
  • Experience of working within a customer-focused culture and interpreting procedural guidelines to resolve enquires. 
  • Preparing accurate minutes and proof-reading documentation for a variety of stakeholders.
  • A willingness to work closely with senior Trust executives executives and governance volunteers, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accurate reporting of governance information.
  • High professional standards and personal integrity.

The role

This is a full-time/term-time role, but we would consider requests to work part time.

There is a regular requirement for evening work due to the Academy Quality Council meeting cycle each term, however a hybrid work pattern is actively supported.

When capacity allows, the post holder would also be required to undertake general support and administrative duties for the Trust Executive.
