Minster Trust for Education is a multi-academy trust of 7 primary and secondary schools which has at its core a collaborative model of leadership and a belief in sharing expertise while unerringly pursuing the best education for its pupils. Together we help every child to flourish, opening doors to fulfilling futures.
The Trust is founded on 5 key principles that apply to pupils, students, and employees alike. They are:
• Integrity - we do the right thing
• Wisdom - we think deeply
• Kindness - we care about each other
• Collaboration - we are better together
• Service - we pursue the greater good.
We seek to employ people who not only demonstrate these values but are also invested in our mission and truly wish to make a difference through their contribution, whatever the specific role.
An opportunity has now arisen for a Governance Professional to join our small close-knit team. In this role you will develop and lead a professional governance service across the Trust, providing expert governance advice to the Members, Trust Board, Trust leaders and local governing bodies. You will also work to ensure the delivery of highly effective governance in line with the Trust’s vision, ethos, strategy, and policies.
This is a role that will change over time and will provide the right candidate with the opportunity to really “add value”. If you are looking for your next challenge and want to make a difference in a forward thinking, progressive organisation then we would love to hear from you.
Closing date for receipt of applications is noon on Friday 15th July 2022.
Interviews will be held on Friday 22nd July 2022.
MITRE is committed to safeguarding children and the promotion of equal opportunities for staff and students. The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check via the DBS.
