Trust Leader (CEO/Director of Education)
Salary range: between 85000 and 95000
Start date: September 2022 or January 2023
Trust Leader (CEO/Director of Education) Are you an inspirational leader who is accomplished in driving and supporting school development across multiple schools? Are you a positive team-player, experienced in collaborative working? If the answer is yes then we would love to meet you. The Directors of Spiral Partnership Trust are seeking to appoint an exceptional leader, to lead the strategic development of our multi-academy trust of 6 primary schools. This is a unique opportunity to build on our achievements and lead our Spiral family of schools into the future with enthusiasm, ambition and sensitivity. This exciting opportunity comes at a pivotal moment for Spiral. Following the retirement of the founding CEOs, Spiral is well placed to continue to grow and develop. As part of our growth strategy, our new Trust Leader will play a strategic role in developing and managing our talented school leaders across the Trust. This is an interesting and rewarding opportunity for someone with a background in education and an enthusiasm for a fresh challenge. The role combines the leadership of school improvement with accountability for the development and oversight of our MAT. The leadership of school improvement includes all aspects of the quality of educational provision and quality assurance across the Trust. Based in St Albans, you will lead an experienced, high-performing multi-professional team supporting every aspect of school improvement and school business. We are looking for an inspirational person, with a breadth of experience in educational leadership, to build on the skills and talents within our trust as we continue to develop and motivate our school leaders to create excellent teaching and learning, always and everywhere. We want our new trust leader to be outward-facing and well connected, to be interested in and knowledgeable about the latest education developments and to be a natural horizon scanner – to inform and inspire their practice and others'. Spiral is a collaborative and innovative trust, not afraid to ask questions and think differently. We believe that our staff are our greatest asset and work hard to create a culture of high standards, high expectations and high rewards. We are currently exploring the possibility of a merger with another trust. Subject to the final decision, the successful candidate will be assured of a key role in the future of the trust as an executive leader - either CEO or Director of Education, on terms not less favourable than the advertised remuneration package. This is an exciting time and the successful candidate will have a key role in leading and shaping our future, working towards the best possible outcomes for our present and future children.
