Trust Management Accountant

Required as soon as possible.

Due to the promotion of the current post holder, we are looking to appoint a Management Accountant who will assist the Director of Finance in providing a range of financial management support to schools within the Trust.

We are a well-established Multi Academy Trust of four schools and are at a very exciting stage in our journey. The successful candidate will be involved in the development and growth of the MAT, meaning there are fantastic opportunities for career progression. They will be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.  They will be proficient at problem-solving and have experience of developing their skills in a working environment. The willingness and aptitude to learn new tasks are considered just as important as previous experience in a relevant role.

This position is full time (37 hrs per week), although part time and flexible working options will also be considered. The salary range is £34,373 - £44,624 pro rata.

The employment package includes a number of other benefits, including enrolment in the Local Government Pension Scheme, a defined benefit scheme.

The successful applicant will have a choice of being based in either our Morecambe or Preston (Fulwood) office. They will be expected to travel between these sites as well as the Trust schools as required.
