We are seeking to appoint an inspirational, proven leader and team player who has the ambition and experience to become an Academy Principal in the very near future.

The Maltby Learning Trust, established in 2014 is a locality based model comprising primary and secondary Academies. As Senior Vice Principal, this is an exciting opportunity to partner in the leadership of one of our three secondary Academies. Each 11-18 Academy has a shared vision and values yet unique characteristics born out of community context and improvement priorities. The successful candidate will work closely with other Academy and Trust leaders to secure high standards of education and establish the school as a centre of excellence both regionally and nationally.

The candidate will have the energy, experience and expertise to assume the role of Associate Principal when the substantive post holder is out on Trust Business. In addition, the Senior Vice Principal must be able to provide outstanding leadership working with and through others to secure excellent outcomes for our young people.

The successful candidate will have an excellent track record in one of the following specialisms:

  • Personal Development and Wellbeing (Safeguarding)
  • Curriculum, Learning and Progress
  • Achievement and Standards
