Grade: APTC5 (£11.98 per hour)

School:  Success for All Educational Trust – Redden Court School and The Royal Liberty Schools

Responsible to:  Company Secretary

Liaises with:  Chairs of Local Governing Bodies and Company Secretary

Hours:  To minute take at meetings and time to write up minutes. Pay is based on a zero hour contract and hourly rate.

Main purpose of the job

The Multi Academy Trust Minute Taker is responsible for the accurate recording of governance meetings within the Success for All Educational Trust (SFAET). The post holder will attend all governance meetings at all schools within the Trust to take accurate minutes to record evidence of discussions and decisions made at the meetings. The post holder will provide a draft copy of the minutes to the chair of meetings attended within 7 days of the meeting date. Once the minutes are approved, minutes are to be distributed to the Company Secretary. 

Main duties and responsibilities

a) Attend all governance and Trustee meetings that are not clerked by the Essex Clerking Service

b) Take detailed and accurate minutes of meetings attended

c) Draft minutes in an agreed format to the chair of any meeting within 7 days of the meeting taking place

d) Issue agreed version of minutes to Company Secretary once approved by the chair.

e) To ensure confidentiality is maintained

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
