Ambitious about Autism is the national charity for children and young people with autism. We provide services, raise awareness and understanding, and influence policy. We exist to enable children and young people with autism to learn, thrive and achieve.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Trusts Fundraiser to join our Fundraising team and help us achieve our goals through generating income from small to medium trusts.

About the role:

  • To develop and submit high quality funding applications, and approaches to trusts and foundations
  • To develop and maintain good relations with potential and existing donors, including the small trust donors
  • To assist Fundraising team prepare materials such as cases for support, case studies etc, to support funding applications
  • To provide regular reports on income against budget
  • To ensure the database is effectively used, kept updated and accurately maintained
  • Ensure that all funders receive timely and relevant correspondence and updates about the work of the charity
  • Support the Fundraising Team in the production of fundraising literature, reports, case studies and internal communications
  • Ensure that necessary information for trusts and statutory fundraising is suitably presented

About you:

  • Excellent written, research and organisational skills
  • A track record in raising trust funds within a charity setting
  • Looking for an opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, challenging but exciting environment

- The Rise School is a thriving special school based in Feltham, west London educating autistic pupils aged four to 18.

- Ambitious College is a specialist day college for autistic young people aged 16 to 25. The college has two campuses situated in partnership with mainstream colleges in north and west London.

- Spring School is a special school dedicated to educating autistic pupils aged four to 19. It was opened in 2023 by the Ambitious about Autism Schools Trust and is based in Kingston, south west London.

- St. John’s College is a specialist college based in Brighton supporting young people aged 16-25. The college became part of Ambitious about Autism in 2023.
