St Joseph's Bracken Ridge is seeking a Tuckshop Convenor to manage the efficient and effective day to day operation of the school tuckshop. In addition to successfully co-ordinating the running of the tuckshop, you will manage ordering of stock, organisation of volunteers and maintain a clean, hygienic workspace.

You must demonstrate:

  • An ability to lead, plan, organise and control the day-today operations of the tuckshop including finance;
  • Experience in food service and knowledge of the nutritional requirements of school-aged children;
  • Organisational skills, initiative and enthusiasm; and
  • Excellent team work, communication and interpersonal skills.

To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:

  • hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
  • have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.

Total Paid Hours (per week) & days required: 22 hours a week across four days for 39 weeks

Salary level, range or hourly rate: Services Staff Level 3 - $30.97 per hour

Employment conditions: Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement
