Job overview
Salford City Academy are recruiting for a Tutor of English and or Maths to join our talented and dedicated team on a casual basis for hours as and when required to start after half term. The successful candidate will deliver tuition to identified students, in small groups or on a one-to-one basis. You will work with class teachers to identify areas for development and support, plan the student’s personalised learning programme, and agree outcomes.
You may have recently completed your A-Levels and are looking for a rewarding role prior to starting your University course. You may be studying at a local university and are looking for an exciting opportunity to run alongside this. You may be on a gap year and looking for a way to give back to society. You may already be employed and are motivated by an opportunity to support children who really need you. You may be able to offer a couple of hours a week. You may be able to offer more. Whatever your circumstances, we want to hear from you if you are motivated by improving the life chances of young people.
