Tutor of English

Priestley CollegeWarrington

We are looking for tutors to deliver predominantly Functional Mathematics and English qualifications to adults (19+)

We deliver courses at all levels (Entry 1 through to Level 2) in a variety of venues across Warrington including evening classes on our Loushers Lane campus (we anticipate running the evening classes on Monday and Tuesday evenings).

Tutors will need to be confident supporting students from a range of attainment abilities but preferably to have experience working with students starting at the lower levels. There would be an advantage if candidates are able to deliver GCSE qualifications.

Courses run throughout the year (term time only) up to a maximum of 32 weeks.  Our primary enrolment period is for September start but we do accept learners at intervals throughout the year.  All classes are 2-hour sessions.

Available hours and location of classes will depend on student enrolments for 2021/2022  - we expect a healthy demand.
