The University is now seeking to appoint a University Secretary and Registrar who will act as Clerk to the Board of Governors, ensuring a professional, effective and efficient service to the Board and its committees as well as compliance with the University’s system of governance and external frameworks. Responsible for the provision of executive support to the Senior Leadership Team and effective administrative support for the University’s academic delivery, they will be passionate about the values, mission and strategy plan of London Met and be willing to advise, challenge and support colleagues in order to enhance and strengthen best practice across the University in this crucial role.

A governance specialist, the successful candidate will possess a significant track record of senior leadership in large, complex and diverse organisations, delivering services and advising on governance considerations in relation to future strategies for sustainable institutional success.

A highly adept relationship manager, they will be able to build strong relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
