Are you interested in working for a world top 100 University?

We are looking for a well-motivated teaching professional to join us as a University Teacher in the team responsible for the development and delivery of the Faculty of Engineering’s Science and Engineering Foundation Year programme. This popular programme comprises approximately 120 students and is expected to grow in the future.

Working closely with Course Director and staff in Interdisciplinary Engineering, in the Faculty of Engineering, you will play a fundamental role in improving student experience, through creative curriculum development and the delivery of engaging teaching to the highest standard. With colleagues, you will provide effective academic and pastoral support to students during the Foundation Year and will contribute to the recruitment and induction of the students.

To take on this exciting post, you will be able to evidence experience of teaching and curriculum development in Higher Education or Further education (or evidence of strong potential in this area). You will have excellent organisational, IT and interpersonal skills, and a dedication to enhancing students’ learning experience. Significant previous practical experience in engineering is essential and the ability to adapt this to inform learning is an advantage. You will have a good honours degree in engineering or science or have equivalent experience.
