Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Year 2 (KS1) Teacher to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a local primary school in the Sunderland area. This is a full time primary teaching role, covering either Year 5 or Year 6. 

The role

The desired Key Stage 2 Teacher will be working in an average size class, with a wide range of ability levels. This role is suitable for both newly qualified and experienced teachers, but the school would ideally like someone who has recently taught in upper key stage 2 and would feel confident in this key stage. The successful applicant will be expected to plan and deliver exciting and engaging lessons to the class. This role would be full time and would be working 8.30am – 4pm Monday to Friday. The class will be decided upon interview. 

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are minimum QTS and experience of teaching in Key Stage 2.

Requirements

To be considered for the position of Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). 

• Have experience teaching primary education at Key Stage 2 level, ideally within either Year 5 or Year 6

• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of primary Teachers.

• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
