Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Design Technology teacher who is passionate, engaging and motivated to teach our eager learners in grades 9 and 10 as well as the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program in grades 11 and 12 . Candidates should be compelling educational practitioners who have a strong Design Technology background and are confident in their capacity to create and deliver a dynamic and engaging curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare engaging and differentiated lesson plans in line with the mission and values of our school.
  • Prepare students for all the components of their Baccalaureate exams.
  • Regularly assess the students’ progress.
  • Participate fully in the professional community and contribute to school life


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant field, Master’s degree preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with both students and parents
  • Positive history of collegiality and collaboration with other teachers and administrators
  • IB experience preferred
