Job overview

The International Centre at Cambridge Regional College are looking for a well  qualified Accounting teacher for our international Access to HE (Business) programme (January intake). The course will start on 3 January 2018 and end on 13 July 2018.

Timetable is flexible and will depend on the availability of the successful candidate. Minimum Requirements: 

You will have an appropriate degree level qualification, as well as ideally have some experience of teaching in an international department/school, although this is not essential. You will also need basic IT skills as the course content is delivered on the College VLE. We are looking for people who can work in a team and are able to adhere to an awarding body requirements and have good administrative skills. We provide support with the use of college systems. We also operate a system of classroom observations. 

All the College positions are subject to the usual pre-employment checks, including DBS and police checks abroad if you have worked abroad in the last 5 years. 

Rate of pay will be £20/teaching hour and meetings are paid for separately.

Cambridge Regional College is a co-educational further education college located in Cambridge. Providing places to students aged 14 and over, the college has several thousand learners young and old, full and part-time. Cambridge Regional College has seen extensive redevelopment and modernisation over the years, and as such can boast of a wide range of modern teaching and recreational facilities, with the most recent major development, which opened in 2011, providing the college with a brand new Low Carbon Centre.
