The Directorate of Business, Professional and Service Industries has an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic professional to join a developing team.  The successful candidate will be a clear communicator with a passion for their subject and ideally hold a degree or equivalent qualification in a related subject.  Applicants should be willing to contribute to the development of new and existing courses and be able to inspire and motivate learners.

 

Ideally you should have a public services background or have experience of teaching a range of public service units at different levels of learning to include higher education, access to higher education and outdoor activities. The successful applicant will be able to teach across a range of public service courses and would ideally be able to identify and promote volunteering opportunities within these areas. 


Possession of a teacher training qualification either a PGCE or a Certificate in Education is essential and the ability to offer Functional Skills would be an advantage.
