Variable Hours Work Based Tutor -  Warehousing/Logistics/DGV Chesterfield/Greater Manchester (As and when required) Rate of Pay £12.83 per hour plus £2.56 per hour holiday pay, paid at the end of each academic term.  

A vacancy has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic Work Based Tutor to join our expanding work based learning division, Learning Unlimited.  

The successful candidate will have a passion to pass on their skills and knowledge to a caseload of learners working towards NVQs and Apprenticeships in the Logistics and Warehousing sector, with competence in Business Improvement, Import and Export an advantage.  

Primary responsibilities include coaching, mentoring and assessing each learner in their workplace to ensure all elements of the qualification framework are successfully met for timely completion of the qualification. The Work Based Tutor will be responsible for the whole learner journey including on-going advice and guidance, monthly visits demonstrating progress on each learning aim, and excellent record keeping in line with company and governing body requirements.  

Applicants must have occupational competence and hold the Assessors A1 Award (TDLB D32/D33) or TAQA 301 Award and be willing to work towards the V1 Award (TDLB D34) TAQA 401 Award.  Training/Teaching/Basic Skills qualifications would be an advantage, although not essential.   

Excellent communication skills and a professional outlook are essential. Flexibility to work additional hours when required and undertake substantial travel when necessary is also essential.
