About the Role

The role of the VET Coordinator is to promote the College and St Francis Xavier’s ethos by enhancing the educational and vocational pathways for students.


Essential Criteria

  • Appropriate professional qualifications and evidence of recent professional development in the areas of VET and Careers, including a current understanding of RTO, ASQA and BSSS requirements for VET and current trends in Career Education.
  • Relevant qualifications and recent study or professional development
  • The management skills and experience to coordinate the VET and Careers office effectively
  • The capacity to develop and maintain effective and supportive interpersonal relationships with students, colleagues, external providers, and other Catholic Secondary Colleged to build meaningful community partnerships to support authentic learning opportunities for students
  • A sound understanding of Catholic schools and a demonstrated commitment to the goals of Catholic education
