Keble College, Oxford, as Patron, seeks to appoint a
VICAR AND ACADEMY CHAPLAIN

This is a very rewarding opportunity for a priest who can give half time to parish ministry and half to the neighbouring Church of England secondary Academy just south of Birmingham city centre.

The priest should be

• grounded in catholic spiritual tradition and enthusiastic about traditional Anglo-Catholic style of worship;
• able to nurture and develop the life and outreach of a congregation containing a diversity of backgrounds and views;
• eager to draw local people into the life of faith, and engage with local community groups in an area of considerable deprivation;
• equipped to deliver chaplaincy in a multifaith context, and with integrity promote the spiritual life of an outstanding Academy where the student body has a majority of Muslims;
