St Aidan’s CE Academy is looking to appoint a unique and highly motivated leader who shares our passion, values and the drive to build upon our impressive achievements. The post offers outstanding opportunities for an ambitious and talented individual with aspirations for promotion to Leadership. 

The Vice Principal will have a major role to play in the setting of the strategic direction and decision making process. The role of Vice Principal is substantial and high profile. A key aspect of the role will be to lead and further embed Behavior for Learning, Attitude to Learning, attendance, punctuality and to ensure all pupils reaching their potential. 

The ideal candidate will have:

o A proven track record of raising standards through successful middle/senior leadership 

o A proven record of high quality teaching, increasing pupils’ rates of progress and improving results at KS3 and KS4

o A full understanding of the range of strategies to support pupils

o Be an outstanding teacher, able to motivate and inspire pupils and staff

o Be committed to making a positive difference to the lives of young people and the community

o A passion and talent for embedding a culture of positive Behaviour for Learning and Attitude to Learning
