King Edward VI Sheldon Heath Academy is a member of the King Edward VI Academy Trust in Birmingham.
We are a successful and forward thinking educational community, committed to developing responsible, aspirational, independent, happy and well-rounded young people with the self-belief to reach their goals. We work to secure this through inspirational and enthusiastic teaching, the provision of a broad, challenging curriculum and excellent support and care. Our work is underpinned by our core values and driven by our unequivocal belief in equality and tolerance.
We seek a Vice Principal to join our senior leadership team to shape the vision and direction of the Academy. You will be a dedicated and ambitious colleague who aspires to Headship.
You will have an absolute commitment to the personal and academic development of our students, and be able to harness the potential and commitment of our superb group of staff.
The Academy is a vibrant and exciting place to be with amazing students who are motivated to achieve their personal best. We were judged as “Good” by our last Ofsted (2017) and reside in a recently built £26m building with state of the art facilities, excellent resources and access to the latest technology.
Results are good and students aspire to continue their studies in our Sixth Form. Colleagues are well-motivated and work collaboratively to ensure that every child reaches their full potential both academically and socially. At the Academy you will enjoy excellent opportunities for career progression and continuous professional development.
