St Brendan’s Sixth Form College is situated in the south of Bristol in an exceptional modern campus setting. We provide post-16 education in a sixth form environment underpinned by our Christian values and ideals while welcoming students from all religious and non-religious backgrounds. The post of Vice Principal is defined by the Goverming Body to be a 'Reserved Post' and the vacancy is only open to practicing Catholics.

We are looking for an exceptional leader and manager to become our new Vice Principal. The ideal candidate will have several years’ previous experience in a senior management or leadership role within the Education Sector, preferably in a Further Education/Sixth Form post-16 provision. As a practicing Catholic we expect you to lead, by example, in living out the mission of the College.

As a member of our Senior Leadership Team, and reporting directly to the Principal, you will ensure that the College succeeds in its mission, achieves its strategic aims and objectives and fulfils its responsibilities. Your key responsibilities will include Curriculum and Academic Development, Quality Assurance, Resources and Services. As the most senior member of College staff after the Principal, the Vice Principal will also act as deputy for the Principal.

The post of Vice Principal is also defined as a 'Senior Post Holder' by the Governing Body.

Salary will be as a Senior Post Holder on the Vice Principal’s six point range from £72,308.45 to £82,698.88 per annum, pay progression is subject to a satisfactory annual performance review by the Strategy, Search and Remuneration Committee and also subject to the maximum of this range.
