VICE PRINCIPAL – CORE CURRICULUM
VICE PRINCIPAL – BEHAVIOUR & SAFETY
Great potential ready to be realised!
Global Academy is seeking to appoint two Vice Principals. As VP, you will support the Principal in shaping Global Academy’s future. For your area of responsibility, you will set a standard of excellence that will result in strong outcomes to shape the future direction of the Academy.
Global Academy opened in September 2016 on a purpose built site with world-class digital facilities. It has 344 students and is sponsored by Global (the media and entertainment company) and the University of the Arts London. Our aspiration is to be a first-class learning environment drawing in students that have a passion for learning and the creative industries. It is possible that a future world star will be made here; and you may be among their major influencers, securing for them and the people that you lead, solid outcomes.
We offer you the opportunity to harness your already strong experience in an academy that has an eclectic mix of learning pathways, which are aimed at developing the whole-student. This role is for those who really believe they can make a difference. We offer you a smaller environment to do this in; maximising the impact that you can have on staff, students and sponsors (that are both world renowned and heavily committed to Global Academy).
To do either of these roles successfully you will need to demonstrate a track record of success that will command the respect of others. We do not expect you to have come from the industry, although that would be an added bonus. Most of all, you will bring a passion for learning, an enthusiasm for helping students fulfil their full potential, and a determination to help the sponsors realise the fantastic vision they have for this great institution.
