Vice Principal

Contract: Permanent 

Hours: Fulltime  

Salary: Leadership Spine L21- L25  

Start Date: Autumn Term (September 2018) 

No on roll: 870 (including VI Form) 

Ofsted rating: Good (September 2014) 

Diocesan Inspection: Outstanding (March 2016)

Christ the King Catholic Voluntary Academy is looking to make a permanent appointment following the appointment of the current Vice Principal to a Principal post.  The Governors wish to appoint an outstanding leader to the post who will work closely with the Principal to raise standards and drive the School forward on its journey to becoming outstanding.  Christ the King is a successful, oversubscribed school.

The successful candidate should be a practising Catholic who will support and contribute to the Catholic ethos of our school and will play a lead role in ensuring that our ethos is central to our culture and every day practices.  We want to appoint an enthusiastic, outstanding teacher, who can demonstrate strong leadership skills and who has vision, drive and ambition for our students. We are looking for someone able to join a team who is determined to accelerate and secure success.  Visits to the school are warmly welcomed by the Principal, Carlo Cuomo.
