Due to the continued growth and drive for improvement of CMAT, we are looking to appoint an ambitious, hardworking and talented Vice Principal with a proven track record of success. North Cambridge Academy, as part of CMAT has achieved a positive progress score for the last three years, in 2019 it was + 0.27 and we are in the top 25% of schools nationally.  We have a context score of +0.94 and this puts NCA in the top 2% of schools nationally.  North Cambridge Academy is a small but growing school of 460 pupils where every member of staff makes a profound difference to children’s life chances.  North Cambridge Academy is graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted 2015 & 2018 with ‘Outstanding’ leadership.

We are situated to the north of the city, approximately a mile from the centre of Cambridge. There is easy access from the A14 and we are close to the new Cambridge North train station. Cambridge is a vibrant university city with a reputation as a great place to live.

The dates/times set aside for visits prior to interview are as follows:

• Thursday 6th February 12.30pm 

• Friday 7th February 9.45am

• Thursday 13th February 11.30am

• Friday 14th February 9.45am 

The closing date for applications is Sunday 23rd February. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted on Tuesday 25th February and interviews will take place on Thursday 27th and Friday 28th February.
