Vice Principal - Pastoral

We are seeking to appoint a Vice Principal to join our existing team and supporting us in moving our academy on the next step of its improvement journey. 

The role has arisen due to the promotion of one of our Vice Principals This is an exciting opportunity that would suit an experienced Assistant/Deputy Headteacher who is an outstanding classroom practitioner and is passionate about the pastoral support and safeguarding of students. The ideal candidate will already have experience and understanding of both Pastoral Support and Safeguarding Leadership and Provision and will be able to evidence the impact of their actions in their current setting. You will be an effective decision maker, have excellent organisation skills and lead by example. 

The post holder will be the pastoral leader with overall responsibility for Behaviour, Attendance and Safeguarding and will  oversee line management of the pastoral teams, organise duty rotas during and after school, assist with parent evenings and meetings and contribute to the school development plan.
