At Leyton Sixth Form College, we offer a wide range of A level and vocational courses to approximately 2,300 full-time 16-19 year old students. We place high value on continually raising our standards of teaching and learning, broadening the experiences of our students and the ongoing professional development of our staff.   

Salary: £73,258 - £78,046 per annum

Due to the promotion of the current postholder, we are looking for a new Vice Principal to join our Senior Leadership Team.   

You will fully contribute to the strategic leadership of the College, be responsible for strengthening a culture of high standards and continuous improvement and be a champion of College values.   

As an individual, you should have an in depth knowledge of post 16 education and be able to demonstrate a track record of raising standards of teaching, learning and student achievement. You should also have experience of successfully leading curriculum or pastoral areas and teams.

Leyton Sixth Form College is heavily committed to providing extra-curricular activities for its students. In particular, the college is known for its outstanding sports and drama facilities. The college maintains a number of formal partnerships with London universities, and has rigorous academic standards to best prepare students for life at university, should they choose to go. As part of this commitment, Leyton Sixth Form College also provides an annual higher education fair.
